Justice Stephen Breyer Not Yet Ready To Retire

Democrats want Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer to retire.

They don’t dislike his decisions. He is a reliable vote for liberal causes. They are concerned about what happened when the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg refused to retire and then died when a Republican, President Donald Trump, was able to replace her.

The Supreme Court has a 6-3 advantage for conservatives, and the Republicans would have 7-to-2 if they were to succeed Justice Breyer.

Justice Breyer, however, stated that he doesn’t have any retirement plans at the moment in a CNN exclusive.

He stated that he hasn’t made a decision about when he will retire, and that he is enjoying his role as senior liberal on the court since Justice Ginsburg’s passing.

Justice Breyer, who is a 27-year veteran of the court, stated that there are two factors that must be considered in any retirement decision.

“Primarily, obviously, health,” said the Justice, who will turn 83 in August. “Second. the court.”

Liberals, including some Democrat legislators, had been pressuring Breyer to resign at the conclusion of this session of the court. But he doesn’t have such plans.
