Unhinged Biden Vows to Take Action After Republicans Block Police Reform Bill

Republicans crushed hopes by blocking their most recent “police reform” bill.

Democrats are notoriously anti-police, and many radical Democrats call for the defunding of or elimination of law enforcement.

Biden plans to issue an executive order, reportedly because Democrats cannot pass legislation through Congress.

“Joe Biden vowed to take executive action to enact police reform in the coming weeks,” Daily Caller reports.

In a statement, Biden acknowledged there is no longer a path forward for the “George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.”

The bill was named after George Floyd who died in Minneapolis after a police officer pinned him to the ground.

Floyd was immediately “held up as a martyr” by the Left and it’s become “fashionable to turn criminals into heroes overnight,” Political commentator Candance Owens notes. “George Floyd was not a good person. He was a violent criminal.”

Biden stated, “The murder of George Floyd is a stain on the soul of America. It spurred the nation to collectively demand justice, and we will be remembered for how we responded to the call.”

“Regrettably, Senate Republicans rejected enacting modest reforms, which even the previous president had supported, while refusing to take action on key issues that many in law enforcement were willing to address,” Biden continued to add.

“The White House will continue to consult with the civil rights and law enforcement communities, as well as victims’ families to define a path forward, including through potential further executive actions I can take to advance our efforts to live up to the American ideal of equal justice under law,” he stated.

Donald Trump has been pro-law enforcement, anti-mob, and pro-border patrol over the last few years.

Biden on the other hand has been a thin and complicated man. Biden hosted Eric Garner and George Floyd’s families at the White House in his first push for reform.

Biden has a long history in law enforcement. He has been in politics for 48 years. He was first elected to the Senate in 1972. He remained there until 2009 when he was reelected six more times. Before becoming Vice President, he served as Secretary of State. Biden’s views on law enforcement have changed depending on who you ask.

Candance Owens commented on the death of George Floyd by saying, “George Floyd was not a good person. I don’t care who wants to spin that, I don’t care how CNN wants to make you think that he had just turned his life around.”

“The fact that he has been held up as a martyr sickens me,” she added.

“We shouldn’t be buying T-shirts with his name on it,” she said. “He was a violent criminal,” she said of Floyd. “George Floyd was not an amazing person. George Floyd is being upheld as an amazing human being.”

“Everyone is pretending that this man lived a heroic lifestyle. We are embarrassing in that regard. Nobody wants to tell the truth in black America. Our biggest problem is us,” she added.

“I have no apologies to make. George Floyd is not my martyr. He can be yours.”

Owens claimed that Floyd was high when he died and cited his criminal past. Floyd spent five years in prison for robbery, assault, and other crimes. Owens spoke of an incident in which George Floyd allegedly beat and robbed a pregnant woman at her home.

“He got into trouble,” Meshah Hawkins stated, who was a childhood friend of Floyd’s. “He fell into the things a lot of the guys in the neighborhood were doing.”

Biden has called on reforms but he also criticized the radical wing in his party that demanded the defunding of the police or abolishing of the police following Floyd’s death. Audio of his December phone conversation with reform activists was leaked and shows Biden blaming Democratic losses partly for anti-political rhetoric.

“That’s how they beat the living hell out of us across the country, saying that we’re talking about defunding the police. We’re not. We’re talking about holding them accountable,” Biden said, according to the audio.
