Gen. Milley Exposes Pelosi By Stating She Encouraged Him to Undermine Trump

The Daily Wire reported Gen. Mark Milley claimed that he tried to “cool down” foreign military leaders by making multiple calls to a Chinese general over the period following Jan. 6. He also suggested that she had spoken with Nancy Pelosi to suggest that he prevent former President Trump from ordering a nuclear strike.

Speak Pelosi revealed that she tried to make former President Trump ineffective since Jan. 6. One of her actions was to contact Mike Pence while he was still in office with the intent of passing the “25th Amendment” for Trump’s remaining presidency.

In January, she also revealed on social media that she had spoken with Gen. Milley to stop former President Trump’s launch of a nuclear attack.

“This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike.” Pelosi wrote in a statement to fellow legislators.

“The situation of this unhinged President could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy.” added the Speaker.

Robert Costa and Bob Woodward, journalists, co-authored “Peril”, a book that quotes Gen. Milley as saying that Trump was “crazy”.

According to the book, Gen. Milley told Pelosi that there are “a lot of checks and safeguards in the system” that will prevent President Obama from launching a nuclear strike against his own people without supporting him.

According to the book, Pelosi said to Milley; “He’s crazy. You know he’s crazy.”

In reference to the Capitol riot, Pelosi added; “He’s crazy and what he did yesterday is further evidence of his craziness.”

Woodward and Costa stated in their book, that Gen. Milley was in agreement with Pelosi about “everything”.

Gen. Milley described the phone call while being interviewed by Congress regarding the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“Speaker of the House Pelosi called me to inquire about the president’s ability to launch nuclear weapons,” he said to the senior legislators. “I sought to assure her that nuclear launch is governed by a very specific and deliberate process. She was concerned and made various personal references characterizing the president.” said the general.

“I explained to her the president is the sole nuclear launch authority and he doesn’t launch them alone and that I am not qualified to determine the mental health of the President of the United States.” claimed the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Gen. Milley stated to the commission; “There are processes, protocols and procedures in place and I repeatedly assured her there was no chance of an illegal, unauthorized or accidental launch.”

“By presidential directive, and Secretary of Defense directive, the chairman is part of the process to ensure the president is fully informed when determining the use of the world’s deadliest weapons. By law, I’m not in the chain of command and I know that. However, by presidential directive and DOD instruction, I am in the chain of communication to fulfill my legal, statutory role as the president’s primary military advisor.” added the military leader.

Gen. Milley confirmed that he had explained the process of nuclear strikes on the call but claimed that Pelosi didn’t accurately represent the phone conversation when she claimed she tried to stop Trump from launching an attack.

“At no time was I trying to change or influence the process, usurp authority or insert myself in the chain-of-command,” Gen. Milley said to the commission.
