According to ABC 7, an 85-year-old lady was dragged off an elevator and robbed during a Bronx handbag snatching on Sunday.
Authorities are hopeful that security video of the incident will lead to an arrest.
The event happened just after 3:00 p.m. In the Mott Haven neighborhood of East 149th Street and Morris Avenue, at an apartment building.
The culprit, wearing a blue vest, seemed to take the woman out of the elevator and down the corridor in the NYPD Crime Stoppers footage.

As the culprit came around the bend, the elderly woman smashed against the wall and collapsed on the ground.
The sufferer, who was complaining of hip discomfort, was sent to Lincoln Hospital.
