Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania was able to get a Let’s Go Brandon commercial past the censors and into an excellent Superbowl commercial. Whether or not it was effective for his campaign, it reminded everyone in America how bad Brandon is.
Well, not the entire United States of America. It’s only the local ad market in Pennsylvania. Nonetheless, the ad is epic and slams Biden for his numerous failures, from inflation to Afghanistan, open borders to sky-high gasoline prices.
McCormick’s commercial, which is only 30 seconds long and is full of phrases about the calamities Brandon has inflicted on us while audiences yell Let’s Go Brandon in the background, serves as a reminder to everyone who sees it or saw it during the game. When Biden’s failings are plastered across the television screen, they are unavoidable.
Regardless of how amazing his ad and interview were, McCormick will face a tough race. McCormick, 56, is one of dozens of Republicans vying in Pennsylvania to succeed retiring Republican Senator Pat Toomey.
Republicans, particularly in the Rust Belt, are reluctant to trust a former hedge fund manager, because it was just this type of person who devastated the American manufacturing sector in the pursuit of slightly higher profit margins.
Perhaps McCormick’s experience will help him avoid the Cain mark that comes with being a financier. The advertisement will most likely be beneficial. However, Pennsylvanians may be on the lookout for someone else.
