Nascar Legend Pledges 1 Million Rounds Of Ammo To Ukraine

Richard Childress, the owner of a NASCAR team, has pledged to send 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine to assist soldiers and people in defending their country from Russian forces.

During an interview, Childress claimed he was moved by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s spirit to defend his country.

AMMO Inc. was founded by the NASCAR Hall of Fame team owner at the time. CEO Fred Wagenhals will talk about how they can make it happen. Childress informed Brian Kilmeade that Wagenhals immediately offered to start making ammunition for Ukrainian fighters.

According to Childress, what is happening in Ukraine should serve as a wake-up call for Americans, highlighting the importance of the Second Amendment and the right to keep and bear arms.

“To see people in Ukraine fighting, it’s terrible to see the lives being lost over there,” Childress added. “We have to do all we can, and I felt with AMMO Inc. and myself, we’re doing the right thing and we’re going to get that ammunition as quick as we can to them.”

Childress resigned from the National Rifle Association’s board of directors in 2019. He stated at the time that he had decided to concentrate on his businesses.

Childress said he’s working with a number of federal agencies to get the munitions to Ukraine quickly, but that a private courier will be needed.
