A 53-year-old man was slammed to the ground, beaten repeatedly, and robbed while trying to place his order at a Manhattan McDonald’s, according to authorities.
After being targeted by the unidentified culprit while using the fast food chain’s self-serve kiosk in Midtown shortly after 7.30 a.m, the victim was taken to the hospital with a significant head injury. on the following Monday.
The surveillance video from inside the 7th Avenue McDonald’s shows the bully approaching the victim from behind and knocking him to the ground with a single strike to the head.

According to authorities, the victim was observed scrambling to his feet before the suspect shoved him against the counter and once again demanded for his wallet.
The assailant was fortunately recorded on tape slamming the man down once again, kicking him in the head multiple times, and then snatching his phone and wallet from his jacket.
Although there was at least one other customer in the restaurant at the time of the incident, no one was seen on video coming to the victim’s rescue.
According to authorities, the person was brought by EMS to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition.
In the aftermath of the assault, the perpetrator, who is still at large, was recorded on camera calmly exiting the McDonald’s and running into the neighboring Penn Station.
The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person who reportedly robbed and assaulted a McDonald’s customer on March 28, 2022.
