The most divisive and incendiary social and political problems of today are frequently labeled as controversial, but are they really? Many public conversations appear to be uncontroversial because the debates are more about rationality vs crazy.

The man approached the protest and inquired why certain black lives mattered more than others. All black lives matter, the demonstrators unanimously agreed. The man pushed them even more.
He inquired, “Black men killed by black men matter, right?”
“Yes,” said the audience.
He inquired, “What about the black babies killed in abortion clinics?” The audience was deafeningly quiet. “Thought so,” he remarked, adding that all black lives, including those slain in the womb, matter.
“If we don’t respect the lives of our unborn children enough to save them and fight for them, then our lives mean nothing once we are born,” he remarked.
Silence is a kind of aggression.
