Orangutan Almost Breaks Man’s Leg Grabbing Him From Zoo Cage

A video that has gone popular on the internet purports to show a man fighting an orangutan, who holds him through the bars of its cage and refuses to let go.

The orangutan climbs out of its cage and clutches the guy in the video, which went viral Tuesday. The tense tug-of-war soon appears bound for tragedy.

The event appears to begin when the guy, subsequently named as Hasan Arifin, approaches the case, and the orangutan reaches out to grab his shirt.

As the guy is unable to break free, he is drawn closer to the cage by the huge ape’s incredible power. The orangutan then grips his legs with such vigor that it looks like he is attempting to bite them, raising them higher and lifting the man off the ground.

People outside the cage try to help by tugging on him and kicking the monkey, but the viral video runs out before the issue is resolved.

The event occurred on Monday at the Kasang Kulim Zoo in the Indonesian state of Riau.

The orangutan’s name is Tina and she only reached out and grabbed the guy after he crossed the zoo’s security barrier.

Arifin disregarded the zoo’s safety guidelines in an attempt to acquire a video of the imprisoned species, according to Kasang Kulim Zoo manager Desrizal.

The visitor broke the regulations by jumping over the railing and kicking the orangutan, as stated by the management.

Other footage from the zoo appears to show no crossing signs in front of the primate’s cage.
