Texas cattle owners David and Deborah Hajda sent a stern warning to the general public, in particular the middle class, in the wake of the Democrats’ package that would increase IRS budget by $80 billion.
They disclosed on “America’s Newsroom” on Tuesday that they had a tax audit 13 years prior. Dana Perino, host of Fox News. “We got audited over basically a $7,800 engine rebuild on a very old tractor,” Deborah said.
Every American should be alarmed by the mere concept of this since the IRS has the right and the incentive to audit anyone. Contrary to what some Democrats assert, it is not simply for the wealthy. The Hajda family was audited; they are hard-working Americans who are not billionaires. Even though this occurred 13 years ago, it still has the potential to occur now, particularly in light of the Democrats’ legislation that increases IRS funding by $80 billion.
Abolish the IRS.

“I took out our box of receipts… and we handed it to him, and I said ‘Here’s your receipts’ … we weren’t hiding anything,” Deborah noted.
Perino questioned whether the IRS agent was just looking for them to meet a quota.
Deborah answered, “Probably. They said they flagged it because our expenses were high that year, and it was because of this repair.”
The Hajdas went on to state that they could not afford to purchase a new tractor and that they had kept meticulous records of all costs associated with necessary repairs. But the auditor felt there was insufficient justification.
The information provided by Deborah and David is really alarming since it could happen to any middle-class family. Even while the Biden administration tries to divert attention from that issue, it still stands to reason.
Deborah ended by issuing a stern warning to Americans in the middle class.
