Atlanta Dealing with Massive Crime Surges This Year

At this point, the nationwide increase in lawlessness has made headlines month after month. Criminal gangs are spreading havoc and wreaking havoc on law-abiding residents all around the United States.

Many people, unfortunately, are seeing the real-life effects of rising crime rates. During many smash-and-grab thefts in socialist cities, store personnel have been assaulted.

Meanwhile, due to high levels of stealing and other criminal behavior in Manhattan, businesses such as Rite Aid are closing their doors. It’s an understatement to say that it’s not a pretty picture.

Atlanta, Georgia is one of the cities that is getting a firsthand look at this. According to reports, crime in Atlanta has taken a worrying turn for the worse.

The Atlanta Police Department released some startling statistics about the city’s crime rates earlier this month. This year has seen a 43 percent increase in Atlanta killings, as well as an 18 percent increase in burglaries and a startling 236 percent increase in rapes.

Atlanta Democrat Andre Dickens took over as mayor from Keisha Lance Bottoms this year. As a mayoral candidate, Dickens ran on reducing crime; but, based on evidence from the Atlanta Police Department, the mayor has a lot of work ahead of him.

There appears to be no solid explanation as to when Atlantans should anticipate crime to decrease in their town, as there is in other cities under the heel of communist politicians.

This, according to one popular viewpoint, is what occurs when municipal politicians choose to defund the police and prevent them from doing their jobs.

Atlanta isn’t the only city with a significant crime problem- Chicago, New York City, Austin, and other Democratic-controlled cities are all dealing with comparable issues.

Unless anything changes immediately, this has turned into a vicious cycle that will result in many more people being injured or murdered.
