Last month, many Americans were shocked to learn that comedian and television icon Bob Saget had died in an Orlando hotel room.
Although authorities initially stated that nothing untoward had been discovered, additional information has raised new doubts about his death, especially the type of injury he allegedly sustained in the hotel room.
The chief medical examiner for Orange and Osceola counties, Joshua Stephany, indicated that there is no evidence of drug usage or foul play in Saget’s death.
However, data from Saget’s autopsy released this week revealed several skull fractures that caused bleeding on both sides of his brain.
Rather than a minor head injury that may have been overlooked, the autopsy revealed an undeniably serious combination of injuries that, at the very least, would have left someone puzzled, according to brain experts.
The report’s conclusion that Saget had likely struck his head before going to bed without seeking medical assistance perplexed Gupta.
He continued, that one may believe this was someone who had fallen down the stairs and sustained several head injuries, or had been unrestrained in a car accident. Gupta, a neurosurgeon, was extremely concerned with the force used to bash Saget’s head.
