Biden Crashes His Bike While on Weekend Vacation in Delaware

On Saturday, President Joe Biden crashed while riding his bike near his weekend vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It was captured on film.

After the terrifying incident, photographers took images of the president as he lay on the ground.

Before the accident, Biden had stopped to say hello to a gathering along the Gordon’s Pond State Park bike route, which was chanting ‘Happy Father’s Day’ to the president.

Finally, Biden, 79, responded, “I’m good,” before brushing himself off and continuing on his way. Biden told reporters that he had problems removing his shoes from the bike pedals, which caused him to collapse.

According to the White House, the president did not require medical attention following the event.

“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family,” an official added.

The near-miss recalls a day in March 2021 when Biden fell three times while frantically holding to the guard rails.

At the time, Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House’s deputy press secretary, tried to blame the sequence of falls on the wind.

“It’s pretty windy outside. It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself,”  Jean-Pierre remarked, President Joe Biden, she noted, is giving it his all. There was, however, only a faint breeze at the moment.

Joe Biden had another close encounter later that month while heading up the steps to Air Force One in the rain.

President Joe Biden is on track to leave the White House for longer than any of his recent predecessors. Biden has spent more than a quarter of his first year in office, mostly on weekends, in Delaware.
