On Tuesday, US President Joe Biden was surprised in Iowa by a bird that appeared to be pooping on his suit while he spoke about inflation and the state of the American economy.
A viral social media video shows that Mr. Biden was presenting plans to reduce gas prices and “putting Rural America at the center of our efforts to create a future that’s made here in America” when a white substance fell onto his jacket, right above his American flag pin.

According to Fox News the incident occurred in what Mr Biden called a “giant Barn”. Later, a White House official clarified that the incident was actually corn and not bird poop. Twitter users used the clip to make fun of the bird droppings.
“Move over Pence fly. It’s Biden shoulder bird poop,” wrote one Twitter user while referring to when a fly famously lingered on former Vice President Mike Pence’s head during his debate with Kamala Harris last year. “Biden wasn’t the only one spouting poop today,” commented another. “Even the birds are pissed off now. What’s NEXT,” chimed a third user.
It is worth mentioning that Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Des Moines on Tuesday to begin his “rural infrastructure tour”. He addressed the rise in fuel prices that Americans are experiencing all over the country during his speech. He revealed his plan to increase the availability of E15, gasoline that contains a 15% ethanol blend, from June 1 through September 15.
Notably, the speech of the US President in Iowa was made after he acknowledged the subway shootings which occurred in the morning rush hour in Brooklyn.
