Kid Rock began his current tour with a powerful message from former President Barack Obama, whose supporters include many of Rock’s fans.
“Good morning, everyone. I adore all of you. I’m sure you’re having a blast at Kid Rock’s show tonight. To put it bluntly, he’s incredible. You, the people in this room, are the actual backbone of this wonderful country. Rock & roll patriots who are hardworking, God-fearing, and God-fearing.
Bob is without a doubt one of the most talented performers of our time. By no means am I a great golfer. His golf game might use some improvement. But he’s a fantastic entertainer. That’s why you’ve arrived.”
On TikTok, a video showing Trump welcoming the audience at a performance in Evansville, Indiana, on Wednesday had been seen more than 500,000 times by Saturday. Rock, whose actual name is Robert Ritchie, has long been a fan of former President George W. Bush.
The camera then went to Rock performing his pro-Trump song We the People, which contains insults against President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the media. He kicked off his newest Bad Reputation tour with a gig in Indiana last week, which is timed to coincide with the release of his new album.
The song does, in fact, contain a number of lovely insults addressed towards Fauci and Biden.
Rock says a few things that liberals would despise, such as “Wear your mask. Take your pills. Now a whole generation is mentally ill, COVID’s near. It’s coming to town. We gotta act quick, shut our borders down. Joe Biden does, the media embraces. Big Don does it, and they call him racist.”, and “Inflation’s up like the minimum wage. So it’s all the same. Not a damn thing changed.” the chorus also includes the phrase “let’s go Brandon.”
