The president supposedly left his son Hunter Biden a voicemail detailing his international business activities, but the mainstream media has mostly ignored it, claiming that any information allegedly obtained from his son’s now-famous laptop would not be released.
Hunter’s financial activities have been the subject of several denials from President Biden, but on June 27, the Daily Mail revealed a bombshell voicemail that many believe contradicts earlier statements.
As heard in a voicemail from 2018, Biden says, “Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you have a chance, give me a call. Nothing urgent—I just wanted to talk with you. I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear.”
The New York Times piece that Biden was alluding to detailed a personal encounter between Hunter and the chairman of the now-defunct Chinese energy business CEFC at a Miami hotel in May 2017.
According to an examination of transcripts done by Fox News Digital, from June 27 until the morning of July 7, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS all chose to ignore the story.
The network newscasts were criticized by the right-wing Media Research Center on June 28 for failing to mention the first story the day it was released.
The blackout is still going on, and even online, the story isn’t getting any attention.
A scan of the New York Times website shows that Hunter has not been referenced since May 14. A search revealed that The Washington Post has not yet reported the most recent developments in the story.
The question of why there was a voicemail of President Biden speaking to his son about his business affairs was put to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday. President Biden has frequently stated that he has never spoken to his son about his endeavors.
First off, let me just state that I agree with the president’s remarks, Jean-Pierre remarked. “So, if he, if that’s what the president said, that, that is what stands.”
Jean-Pierre refused to discuss purported contents from the laptop from the podium when questioned further.
