Principal Calls Police on Unmasked 4-Year-Old

A California father is retaliating after a police officer forced him and his son to leave campus because they were not wearing masks.

The father, who goes by the name Shawn, was reportedly confronted by authorities on Thursday at Theuerkauf Elementary School in Mountain View, California, popularly known as Silicon Valley, according to the Daily Mail.

The young youngster is seen being escorted by the school administrator in a video that Shawn shot.

“I’m sorry, he’s not able to come in unless he has his mask on. I welcome him here, and I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: I want him here, but it is our district’s policy that students have to wear a mask. He is a lovely child. We are here to support and serve him. I am here to serve all our students on our campus. I cannot keep spending time on this same issue. I’m going to have to have you removed from campus if you do not leave at this time.” the principal, Michelle Williams conveyed.

Following the principal’s speech, a police officer can be seen advancing into the field of view.

The region, which is among the wealthiest in the country, has 544 COVID-19 instances on average during the past seven days.

The Mountain View Whisman School District revised its policy so that kids would no longer be forced to wear masks in accordance with new guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday.

The father stated that in order to completely abolish the mask requirements, he and other parents formed an organization called Mountain View Parents United.
