An administrator at a private school in New York City was covertly taped admitting that she brings her liberal political agenda into the classroom and lamenting the awfulness of white Republicans.
Project Veritas, a conservative news site, captured Jennifer “Ginn” Norris, a teacher at the Trinity School on the Upper East Side, on camera claiming that she attempts to disrupt anywhere she can and that she and other educators have been slipping their activism in between the gaps.
“There’s always groups of teachers who want to do these activist things but the administration just wouldn’t let us. So, we’ve been just sneaking things in through the cracks,” says Norris in the video.
In addition to having the chance to bring in guest lecturers twice a week, Norris, who is designated as the head of student activities at the $60,000-per-year institution, claimed she promised her supervisor she would always be 100% Democratic with the students.
Project Veritas questioned Norris about whether she would ever allow a Republican voice in school, and she responded, “I won’t.”
Norris hinted that she had problems with some white male students on campus elsewhere in the covert tape.
Norris said when asked whether there was any way to save Republican white guys, “I don’t know. I think they need to go. I think they’re really awful people. That’s kind of what I’m afraid of with my white students that are rich. I’m like — do you ever have to deal with this? They’re so protected by capitalism. It makes me sad.”
The circumstances of the covert recording are likewise unknown, although in the past Project Veritas has secretly recorded unwary people while they pretended to be out on a date.
The James O’Keefe-run journalism organization Veritas is infamous for conducting undercover sting operations against a number of left figures, including politicians, advocacy organizations, and now teachers.
