Images of Democratic lawmakers allegedly flaunting their own orders for ordinary individuals have surfaced as Americans mask up during the coronavirus pandemic.
The conflict has been particularly obvious in schools, where youngsters who are normally at minimal risk for the coronavirus have been forced to comply with what many believe are damaging rules. On Friday, tensions exploded once more when Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams was pictured sitting in a room full of mask-wearing youngsters.

The criticism was quick, with many accusing the Democratic gubernatorial candidate of particularly heinous hypocrisy when it came to the country’s youngsters.
Magic Johnson, the basketball icon, shared images of himself with maskless leaders in California just before Abrams’ photo surfaced. During his photo with Johnson, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti stated that he held his breath.
Meanwhile, Gov. Gavin Newsom sought to claim that removing his mask for the photo was the only time he did so during the game.
At the federal level, notable leaders such as Dr. Anthony Fauci have been photographed without masks in public. Images of Democratic Reps. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan and Jamaal Bowman of New York wearing no masks recently surfaced, sparking outrage online.
