Here’s What the Taliban Did Immediately After Final U.S. Troops Left

The last American soldier has left Afghanistan.  This concludes the US’s 20-year-old campaign in Afghanistan.

The Taliban took control of Kabul’s airport shortly after the last plane had left.

After the American departure, they celebrated with gunfire.

The Taliban “joyously fired guns into the air,” According to Agence France Presse. BBC News broadcast the footage of gunfire.

Another video shows them entering the hangar carrying equipment that was left behind by the US military.

This equipment, which includes 150 vehicles, was declared “permanently disable” by a US general.

This should stop the Taliban from “never again using” them.

But the footage that shows US equipment being used has been released. It is being speculated that the equipment may be permanently disabled.
