Houston Man Robs Mother At Gunpoint Of Money For Disabled Son

After being robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight and having the whole event captured on camera, a Houston lady is afraid to leave her house.

The violent robbery occurred at 7:35 a.m., according to police. The date is Saturday, March 26. Robertson had just returned home and was going towards her front door when a vehicle pulled up in front of her house, and a guy with a pistol exited, demanding money.

Roberston flung all she could get her hands on at the suspect. After searching her pockets, the suspect grabbed her purse, dashed back to her car, and fled.

The woman claims the suspect got away with $3,900 after cashing her tax refund check. She intended to use the money towards her son’s care, who is confined to a wheelchair.

Fortunately, she was not injured as a result of the incident.

According to police, the suspect was traveling in a black four-door vehicle, likely a Hyundai Elantra. He is characterized as a Black man who stands between 5’8 and 6’0 inches tall. At the time of the alleged incident, he was dressed in a maroon sweatshirt, blue pants, and white sneakers.
