Dems Inadvertently Tell On Themselves As Border Crisis Rage

According to the number of interactions with illegal immigrants at the southern border last month, it was the worst June in DHS history. It was the fourth month in a row with over 200,000 arrests. Some hackers claim that the fact that everyone was apprehended proves the border is safe.

This misses two apparent facts: First, a large portion of the immigrants who are seized voluntarily desire to be caught because they genuinely believe—often correctly—that they will be processed by US authorities before being permitted into the country.

Many of them are transported by plane and bus to places of their choosing, finishing the last leg of the human trafficking process on the cartels’ dime. Talk about rewards.

Second, there are tens of thousands of known “got-aways.” per month who are caught trying to enter America illegally but are not apprehended owing to a lack of resources and personnel.

Uncountable “got-aways” who enter America completely undiscovered are also present. We are getting close to 900,000 known got-aways since the start of the previous fiscal year, getting closer and closer to the one million threshold every day.

In that piece, we emphasized the mayors of blue cities who had been griping about the costs and responsibilities brought on by illegal immigrants moving into their towns. Of course, they place the responsibility for this issue on Republicans rather than the Democratic government, whose atrocious actions are to blame for this crisis’s start.

Border Patrol agents are calling Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ assertion that the US’s southern border is secure a lie because the US recently broke its previous record for the number of border stops in a calendar year.

Congress could and should undoubtedly do more to assist resolve this situation, but the ruling party is vehemently opposed to focusing on enforcement. But as soon as Team Biden took office, they abandoned a number of effective Trump-era initiatives that had managed to stem the tide of unauthorized immigration.
