China Stops Collaborating With US After Pelosi Visit

As a direct result of Pelosi’s careless one-day journey to Taiwan this week, an angry China has declared that it would stop all interactions with the US on a number of international topics, including climate change, military matters, and anti-drug trafficking systems.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced penalties against the House Speaker and her family earlier today in a statement that was broadcast on the national television network CCTV.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi insisted on traveling to China’s Taiwan province despite the country’s serious objections. According to the spokeswoman, this amounts to a flagrant intervention in China’s domestic affairs.

“It gravely undermines China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, seriously tramples on the one-China principle, and severely threatens peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.”

Prior to her scheduled meeting with Taiwan’s president, Tsai Ing-wen, China had repeatedly warned Pelosi not to travel there, saying that the US was playing with fire.

Pelosi arrived on the island on Tuesday aboard Air Force One despite the warnings.

Beijing has started a four-day military exercise just outside the Taiwan Strait in reaction to the rising tensions brought on by Pelosi’s diplomatic visit to the island state. The exercise will include targeted missile launches.

Yesterday evening, the White House allegedly set up a meeting with the Chinese ambassador, Qin Gang, to denounce the military drills and China’s combative reaction to Pelosi’s visit.

Pelosi, who is irresponsible and illiterate, arrived in Tokyo on Thursday. She made a public statement to clarify that she had no intention of upsetting the status quo and escalating tensions between Taiwan and China during her visit.

Taiwanese officials denounced Beijing’s provocative military exercises yesterday close off its coast and dubbed China their bad neighbor as vessels breached the median line, which divides the Taiwan Strait from the mainland.
