Alyssa Farah was previously the White House communications Director for former President Donald Trump. She will now join CNN as a political commentator.
Politico Playbook first reported the news on Sunday.
Farah left her White House role last December and became a frequent Trump critic. She has attacked Trump’s baseless claim that the election was stolen as well as the lackluster cooperation of some administration officials with the House Jan. 6 investigation.
She has been a frequent guest on CNN and The View in recent weeks.
Farah wasn’t the only one who was announced to be joining CNN on Sunday. Chris Wallace announced that Farah would be leaving Fox News Sunday to take a job with CNN+, a network’s new streaming platform.
