Tesla Billionaire Sends Canadian Truckers Major Show Of Support

In a series of tweets on Thursday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed his support for Canadian truckers opposing the federal government’s vaccine mandate.

Anti-vaccine mandate truckers from Ottowa joined a protest convoy on Jan. 15 to oppose the mandate for cross-border truckers.

Musk stated in an interview with Time last month after being named Person of the Year that he and his eligible children are all vaccinated since the evidence is clear, but that he opposes regulations.

Unvaccinated people are taking a chance, but people take risks all the time. He  believes we must keep an eye on the decline of freedom in the United States.

Musk had already cast doubt on the vaccine and minimized the pandemic. He also ignored a stay-at-home order issued by California in 2020 in order to keep Tesla plants operational, eventually relocating to Texas.

According to the Canadian Trucking Alliance, over 16,000 truck drivers, or about 15% of the country’s truckers, are not completely vaccinated.
