Two Additional House Dems Announce Departure Ahead Of 2022 Midterms

On Monday, North Korea declared the launch of two additional ballistic missiles, the fourth such test this month.

The two new missiles raise fears in January as North Korea’s leader tries to flaunt his muscles in front of the international community.

Two rockets were launched from a train car in the new missile launch, demonstrating the North Korean military’s capacity to launch missiles from any rail destination in the country.

“South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea likely fired two short-range ballistic missiles from an area in Sunan, the site of Pyongyang’s international airport. The missiles were launched four minutes apart and flew about 380 kilometers (236 miles) with a maximum altitude of 42 kilometers (26 miles) before landing in waters off the country’s northeastern coast, it said,” Associated Press stated.

“The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command said the missiles did not pose an immediate threat to U.S. personnel or territory, or to its allies, but highlighted the destabilizing impact of North Korea’s “illicit” weapons program. Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi said the missiles landed outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, and Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno condemned the actions as threats to peace,”

According to accounts from the San Diego International Airport, the order lasted around seven minutes.

“Sabrina LoPiccolo, spokeswoman for the airport, told Newsweek that the airport was instructed by air traffic to make a national ground stop about 2:30 p.m. Pacific time. No reason was given for the stop, which lasted about five to seven minutes, she said,” Newsweek reported.

The increasing number and speed of launches should worry US leaders. In contrast to North Korea’s relative silence under Trump, the communist country has become more confrontational during Biden’s presidency.

If Biden and those in the White House do nothing, the damage might spread to US military bases in neighboring countries and influence global economic difficulties.
