This week, Joe Biden was criticized for comments he made about a struggling restaurant owner.
John Lanni was introduced to Don Lemon as the co-founder and owner of a restaurant group during a CNN town hall.
Biden was informed by Lanni that many restaurant owners are having difficulty finding workers during the pandemic.
Lanni was astonished when Biden told her that he needed to pay more money to his employees or else they would leave.

Many ripped Biden for his tone-deaf response on twitter:

Biden essentially told him that his Admin gave restaurants millions of dollars to keep them open and that people don't want to work in restaurants anymore.
