Austria is Hiring People to Hunt Down Vax Refusers

According to a report that was published by “Blick”, The Austrian government is hiring people to “hunt down vaccine refusers”

Employers will now bear the burden of burden of enforcing fines that unjabbed Austrians have to pay. This will require a new army to ‘inspectors’ to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Linz is home to around 200,000 people and has a low vaccination rate of 63%.

In response, “Linz now wants to hire people who are supposed to hunt down vaccine refusers,” reports Swiss news outlet Blick.

The role of the inspectors will be to check on  “if those who don’t get vaccinated actually will pay for it.”

The wage for vaccine refusenik hunters is 2774 euros. This will be paid 14 times per year. That’s a total of 38,863 euros annually.

“The job includes, among other things, the creation of penal orders as well as the processing of appeals,” according to the report, adding that workers need to be “resilient” and willing to work a lot of overtime.

Only Austrian citizens are eligible for the jobs. All of them will need to have COVID vaccinations or be fully recovered.

We have previously mentioned that unvaccinated people in Austria could be imprisoned for one year under a new administrative statute, which would make them pay for their internment.

Austrians who fail to get their vaccines by February could face up to EUR7200 ($8,000) in fines. Those who refuse to pay could also be sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.
