NYC Mayor Has Dinner With Disgraced Former Gov. Cuomo

On Tuesday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams dined with the state’s disgraced former Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo, according to a representative for Adams.

Mayor Adams meets with a number of previous government leaders to discuss governance, which is especially vital in these historic times.

The two-hour supper took place in a private room at Osteria La Baia in Manhattan’s Midtown district.

Adams’ supper with Cuomo came after the mayor attended the wake for NYPD Officer Wilbert Mora, one of two cops fatally murdered in Harlem last month, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Cuomo resigned as governor of New York in August 2021 after being accused of sexual harassment. A Justice Department investigation is ongoing, despite the fact that no statewide criminal charges have been filed.

“New York tough means New York loving, and I love New York, and I love you,” Cuomo said when he ;eft office in August, “I would never want to be unhelpful in any way, and I think given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing, and therefore, that’s what I’ll do.”
