Smith & Wesson, a producer of firearms, criticized democrat lawmakers and gun control advocates for using the companies as scapegoats for the violent crisis that has gripped America. The faction was charged by the gun maker with using the demonization of firearms and lawful gun owners as a smokescreen for their failed policies, which have increased crime rates.
President Joe Biden has included promoting gun control on his bucket list. After major shootings, Biden has called on lawmakers to outlaw specific semi-automatic firearms and high-capacity magazines.
The Democrats additionally met in Springfield, Massachusetts in June outside the Smith & Wesson corporate office. They had specifically targeted Smith and Wesson in their campaign for even stronger gun restriction, which was led by Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey.
In a 440-word letter made public on Monday, Smith & Wesson lambasted the Biden administration and democratic politicians who have been pressing for gun regulation, claiming they are solely to blame for the upsurge.
“Some have had the audacity to suggest that after they have vilified, undermined and defunded law enforcement for years, supported prosecutors who refuse to hold criminals accountable for their actions, overseen the decay of our country’s mental health infrastructure, and generally promoted a culture of lawlessness, Smith & Wesson and other firearm manufacturers are somehow responsible for the crime wave that has predictably resulted from these destructive policies.“

Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia, which are all governed by Democrats, have had the biggest increase in insurgency. As it did just last year, Philadelphia faces the threat of breaking its own record for the most homicides in a calendar year. The most criticism and impeachment threats have been directed at these states.
The statement went on to say that this conspiracy was responsible for the rise in crime and disorder in their cities. In the name of being liberal, they have been releasing prisoners back onto the streets and supporting criminality.
However, they are making an effort to deflect blame by pointing the finger onto Smith & Wesson and other firearm producers.
