Video Shows Russia New Hypersonic Missiles In Strike

As Russian soldiers deploy hypersonic weapons, the battle in Ukraine may be about to take a grim turn. This is the first time the Russian military has engaged in combat with hypersonic missiles.

Russian soldiers utilized the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles to demolish an underground ammunition storage facility in Delyatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

Information regarding the attack is scarce, according to reports, but Russia has long boasted about its hypersonic weapons arsenal, which includes missiles that can elude traditional anti-missile defense systems.

The 3M22 Zircon missile, for example, is a low-flying rocket capable of eluding early detection technology. It has a range of roughly 1,000 kilometers, as do other similar missiles in Russia’s arsenal.

“The Russian Zircon hypersonic missile’s stealth features have been unveiled,” according to the state-owned Russian news network TV Zvezda, implying that the missile was used against the Ukrainians.

The Zircon hypersonic missile travels at such a high speed that the opponent’s air defense system is unable to detect its impact in time.

It went on to say that the missile’s launch will be known only after the target has been hit, and that the missile’s changing trajectory will make even advanced defensive systems impossible to detect.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in December, while the missile was being tested, “Zircon are our newest missiles fired from the sea at sea targets and land targets.”

Similarly, the Chinese government launched a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile into space last October that was capable of circumnavigating the globe without being detected.

The China National Space Administration’s Long March rocket is said to have taken American spy services off guard.
